EPR full service & compliance for ElektroG, BattDG & VerpackG | ECOPV-EU

Your partner for EPR compliance: We support you in ensuring legal compliance

Whether electrical appliances, batteries, or packaging — anyone who places products on the market in Germany or Europe is subject to complex legal requirements. We provide you with competent, individual, and comprehensive advice on all aspects of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR).

Regardless of whether you are a manufacturer or distributor supplying resellers or end consumers, or importing goods, we support you step by step in fulfilling your obligations

Battery Act (BattDG / BattG)

ECOPV-EU provides comprehensive support to customers in implementing the new battery legislation. We advise you on registration with the ear foundation and on legally compliant labeling.

Organization for producer responsibility (OfH): Under the new BattDG, manufacturers must join a collective system (OfH).

We take care of the selection and processing with an approved OfH on your behalf so that you can fulfill your take-back and recycling obligations in a legally compliant manner.

Electrical Equipment Act & WEEE Service

In the area of the ElektroG, ECOPV-EU acts as your official representative vis-à-vis the ear foundation upon
request. We ensure fast and secure processing:
Registration & WEEE number: We guide you efficiently through the registration process.

Reporting: We take care of the timely quantity reports for you.

Warranty & disposal: Insolvency-proof warranties and the disposal of old equipment are part of our full-service package.

Packaging Act (VerpackG) & PPWR preparation

We support you with classification and reporting on the LUCID portal.

We also assist you with the legally compliant classification of your packaging and provide targeted advice on the selection of recycling-friendly materials.

PPWR (Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation):

The new EU Packaging Regulation will replace the current legislation on August 12, 2026. We can advise you today on the upcoming requirements, new labeling obligations, and stricter recycling specifications to ensure that your packaging remains future-proof.

Disposable Plastic Fund Act (EWKFondsG)

Since 2024, manufacturers of certain single-use plastic products (e.g., food containers, bags, plastic film packaging) have been required to pay fees into a central fund.

  • We can assist you with registering on the DIVID portal at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
  • We advise you on the correct reporting of the quantities produced in order to correctly handle the statutory cost sharing for disposal in public spaces.

EU-wide rollout & international distribution

Are you planning to sell your products beyond Germany’s borders to other EU countries? We are here to assist you and explain the country-specific regulations so that your sales are on a legally sound footing.
