ECOPV-EU GmbH is an officially approved Organization for Producer Responsibility (referred to as OfH in Germany) in accordance with § 8 BattDG in conjunction with the EU Battery Regulation (EU) 2023/1542. We offer you a legally compliant and free solution for the collection and recycling of your used batteries.

 

Who can participate in the take-back system?

Our service is aimed at professional collection points and partners who want to ensure proper disposal:

  • Voluntary collection points: Schools, associations, and companies.
  • Public waste disposal authorities: Authorities or commissioned third parties in the field of waste management.
  • Retailers and distributors: Sales outlets that are obliged to take back waste.
  • Treatment facilities: Specialist companies for end-of-life vehicles or waste electrical and electronic equipment.

We take care of all the logistics and administrative tasks for you – completely free of charge:

 

  • Provision of collection containers: We deliver suitable, ADR-compliant containers directly to your premises.
  • Free collection: Certified logistics partners collect the collected used batteries from devices on a regular basis.
  • Legally compliant recycling: We guarantee safe transport and compliance with all recycling requirements in accordance with BattDG and EU-BattVO.
  • Information material: We provide you with safety instructions and information material for your collection point.

Safety, environment, and recycling

Sustainability is our top priority. All transport is carried out in strict accordance with ADR regulations. The batteries are sorted according to chemical systems and recycled professionally. This allows us to return valuable raw materials to the material cycle and actively support the statutory collection quotas and resource conservation.
