ECOPV-EU · Switzerland
EPR services in Switzerland
For Switzerland, we help classify your electrical equipment and coordinate an appropriate take-back and disposal arrangement.
Our services
- Electrical equipment (WEEE)
Legal framework and local requirements
Switzerland’s VREG governs the return, take-back and environmentally sound disposal of electrical equipment. According to FOEN, there is currently no central registration requirement for this equipment. An EU-style WEEE registration process therefore cannot simply be applied unchanged in Switzerland.
How ECOPV supports your business
Our Swiss service focuses on electrical equipment. We clarify equipment types and the import and distribution model, then help coordinate an appropriate take-back and disposal arrangement. The Swiss importer’s or distributor’s role and the required product and quantity information are defined at the outset.
