EPR services in Latvia
For the market in Latvia we combine product classification with preparation of the relevant EPR procedures. Our service covers the following areas.
Our services
- Electrical equipment (WEEE)
- Batteries
- Packaging
Legal framework and local requirements
Latvia links producer responsibility with natural resources tax. For electrical equipment, batteries and packaging, product classification, collection arrangements and quantity records must align. Tax exemption depends on the legal conditions and appropriate participation in a scheme overseen by VVD; a registration number alone does not establish an exemption.
How ECOPV supports your business
We help identify the relevant product streams and coordinate documents for registration and scheme participation. Reporting data distinguishes equipment, embedded batteries and packaging materials. Before starting, we clarify which quantities and periods the collection arrangement covers and what evidence is needed for a possible tax exemption.
