EPR services in Austria
For the market in Austria we combine product classification with preparation of the relevant EPR procedures. Our service covers the following areas.
Our services
- Electrical equipment (WEEE)
- Batteries
- Packaging
Legal framework and local requirements
Austria treats electrical equipment, batteries and packaging as separate responsibility areas. Foreign distance sellers must also check authorised-representative requirements. For packaging, official guidance specifies an Austrian-established representative, a certified power of attorney and registration in the EDM system.
How ECOPV supports your business
We structure product and packaging data, coordinate the relevant compliance scheme and support registration documents. We clarify the language, scope and form of powers of attorney before signature. Equipment containing batteries is considered in both product streams; packaging weights are separated by material.
