ECOPV has obtained the OfH qualification under the German Battery Act, and the list is publicly displayed on the official Stiftung EAR website.
What’s an OfH?
OfH (Organisation für Herstellerverantwortung), or Producer Responsibility Organization, is Germany’s newly implemented battery recycling management system. It aims to replace the previously fragmented recycling systems (ERS) with a unified and efficient mechanism for compliance enforcement.
According to Stiftung EAR regulations, all battery manufacturers must sign a contract with an approved OfH organization by January 16, 2026. Manufacturers that join an OfH will maintain their existing registration numbers, while those that fail to do so will have their registration numbers revoked.
ECOPV Holds Authorized Representative, Guarantor and OfH Qualification Recognized by Stiftung EAR
In addition to the OfH qualification, ECOPV has been deeply rooted in the German EPR market for many years. We are also an officially recognized authorized representative and guarantor accredited by Stiftung EAR and have held this accreditation for three consecutive years.
